Eastern Mediterranean University is a state university in Northern Cyprus, established in 1979 as the Institute of Higher Education and Technology for Turkish Cypriots in Famagusta. The university became a public university in 1986. The Eastern Mediterranean University has set a mission to become a university in line with global values by guiding internationally recognized academic standards, providing solutions to regional and international problems with a sense of social responsibility, and nurturing graduates who have internalized multiculturalism and free thought. . Famagusta:

The Faculty of Architecture, which started its scientific activity in 1991 as an architecture group under the supervision of the Technical Faculty, became a faculty in 1997 with the departments of architecture and interior architecture. Today it has departments of architecture and interior architecture, postgraduate programs. Department of Architecture: 2 years Master. The Student Exchange Program is a great opportunity for Eastern Mediterranean University students to spend one or two semesters at one of the many universities that EMU works with in 13 countries.
